Komal, a first-generation Canadian with Fijian-Indian roots, holds three degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Science and Health, and a Master's in Counselling. Formerly a grade 6-12 teacher, she is now a passionate mental health advocate and Registered Psychologist, running her private practice, TriUnity Wellness. As the founder of South Asian Network Therapy Association, that connects South Asian individuals with therapists, she breaks down barriers to counseling.
